Konya – Kilistra – Lystra – Binbirkilise – Karaman

South of Konya, the Jerusalem Way leads to Kilistra and the area of ancient Lystra, closely connected to the journeys of the Apostle Paul. Rock dwellings, cave churches, and early Christian traces characterize the landscape. In the Binbirkilise area, numerous church ruins serve as a reminder of the Byzantine tradition before reaching Karaman. The UNESCO site of Çatalhöyük is located in the wider vicinity of the route and can be visited as a planned detour.
