Karaman – Sertavul Pass – Göksu Canyon – Silifke

From Karaman, the Jerusalem Way crosses the Taurus Mountains at the Sertavul Pass and follows the Göksu through an extraordinary canyon and river landscape. A memorial stone commemorates Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, who drowned here in 1190 in what was then Saleph. The long descent leads from the Central Anatolian plateau down to the Mediterranean region and to Silifke.
