The current GPS track leads through all of North Macedonia. From the Kosovo border region, the Jerusalem Way reaches Skopje, the birthplace of Mother Teresa, with its Stone Bridge, Old Town, and the memorial house of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate. South of the capital, the route follows the Vardar, the ancient Axios, via Veles toward Stobi. This significant Roman and early Christian city preserves basilicas, mosaics, and traces of a synagogue, among other features. The path then continues through the wine landscapes and the gorge of Demir Kapija via Gevgelija to the border with Greece. The approximately 216 km track is not a single day’s stage; pilgrims divide it individually according to accommodation, provisions, and personal daily capacity.
