Dear peace pilgrims,
The JERUSALEM WAY – the longest pilgrimage and peace route in the world – was born from a vision in 2006. Today, it inspires people from over 100 countries to set out, build bridges, and live hope. “Walk in peace, as a bridge between peoples.” (Jerusalem Way Spirit)

JORDAN: IMPRESSIONS FROM THE AL-QUDS WAY
In May 2025, the complete JERUSALEM WAY route / Al-Quds Way in Jordan was walked (Slawek from Poland, Alex from France & Johannes from Austria)
Goal: Maintenance and expansion of contacts and infrastructure, route updates, and marking. The approximately 220 km route leads from the Syrian border via Jerash, Amman, and Mount Nebo to the Dead Sea.
It was a cultural and spiritual journey of discovery through remote villages, cities, river valleys, and the impressive stone desert – characterized by numerous warm encounters with the exceptionally hospitable people of Jordan. WELCOME TO JORDAN, HABIBI!
