This is the last of the seven stages on the world’s longest peace and pilgrimage route!
The Jerusalem Way connects 15 countries and the continents of Europe and Asia with the Holy Land over a distance of about 7,500 kilometers: “From the end of the old world in Finisterre through the heart of Europe to the beginning in Jerusalem”. The route leads out of Europe, through various countries towards the east, towards the sunrise – symbolically towards life – as we move step by step on the way to the most important pilgrimage site for Christianity and Judaism, and a holy place for Muslims: Jerusalem – the intersection of religions!

You will experience the wonderful landscapes of the Holy Land in a balanced and fascinating combination on foot and by bus. In spring before Easter, we are on our way to Jerusalem, during the most beautiful time when the desert is in bloom! Jerash, Amman, Madaba, Mount Nebo / Moses, the Dead Sea, the baptismal site on the Jordan, … are on the program in Jordan before we hike the entire way from Jericho to Jerusalem for the grand finale!
The route leads us through Wadi Qelt and the Judean Mountains / the Judean Desert, Bethany, Al-Eizariya / Tomb of Lazarus and Bethphage, until we finally arrive at the Mount of Olives after three days on foot: Jerusalem lies at our feet! An indescribable feeling.
Palestine and Israel towards Jerusalem. Resting in the shade of olive trees, hiking through pristine landscapes, walking through Jewish and Arabic villages, and breathing in the diversity of cultures. Other highlights include an overnight stay in a Bedouin camp, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Dove Valley, Mount Arbel, Magdala, and the Sea of Galilee.
On this unique and extraordinary journey, we experience the wonderful landscapes of the Holy Land in a balanced and fascinating combination on foot and by bus during the time when the desert is in bloom! And as an additional option: The rock city of Petra (details on request)

Some of the highlights are: Unforgettable scenic & cultural highlights such as Jerash, Amman, the mosaic of Madaba, Mount Nebo / Holy Mountain of Moses, the Dead Sea, Jericho, hiking through the entire Wadi Qelt including St. George’s Monastery and the breathtaking impressions on the way through Wadi Qelt and the Judean Mountains where we finally – as a grand finale – arrive at the Mount of Olives on foot! What a moment, Jerusalem, the holy city lies at our feet! After so many countries on the Jerusalem Way, we now have the goal in sight. But Bethlehem, Nazareth, and the holy sites at the Sea of Galilee as well as Haifa, Tel Aviv, … are also on the program.
In this combination, this Jerusalem Way journey represents a UNIQUE experience among pilgrimages in the Holy Land, incomparable and in the truest sense a unique hiking and cultural trip!
