Esztergom – Pilisszántó
From Esztergom, the Jerusalem Way leads from the mighty basilica into the Pilis Mountains. The Danube and the Danube Bend initially remain in view, after which the landscape becomes more forested and mountainous. High trails and quiet valleys accompany the pilgrim to Pilisszántó. This stage connects one of Hungary’s most important spiritual sites with a pristine low mountain landscape.
