Assos – Pergamon / Bergama

From Assos, the Jerusalem Way leads through rural coastal and hilly landscapes of the northern Aegean to Bergama. Ancient Pergamon was a major center of culture, science, and medicine and is one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. The Acropolis and Asklepieion make this UNESCO World Heritage Site one of the great cultural and historical highlights of the route.
