Adana – Misis – Kurtkulağı – Payas – Issos – İskenderun

East of Adana, the Jerusalem Way leads via Misis and its historic bridge to the Kurtkulağı caravanserai. The route then reaches Payas and the Issos area, where Alexander the Great encountered Darius; Alexandria ad Issum also serves as a reminder of the strategic importance of this corridor. Between the Cilician Plain, the gulf, and the Amanus Mountains, the path continues to İskenderun.
