Mitrovica – Vushtrri – Kosovo Polje / Amselfeld – Pristina

From Mitrovica, the Jerusalem Way leads to Vushtrri, where a historic Ottoman stone bridge recalls centuries of cultural connections. The route then reaches Kosovo Polje, the Amselfeld, the site of the 1389 battle in which both Prince Lazar and Sultan Murad I died. A place of contrasting memories becomes, on the Jerusalem Way, an invitation to use history not for division but for reconciliation. The destination is Pristina, with the Mother Teresa Cathedral and the lively centre of the young capital.
