Pamukkale – Hierapolis – Laodicea – Colossae Region – Başmakçı
This section connects Pamukkale and Hierapolis with the Lycus Valley. Hierapolis was a thermal spa and pilgrimage site; Laodicea is one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. Near the route lies the ancient city of Colossae, known from the Letter to the Colossians. The Jerusalem Way then leaves the broad valley and leads through Phrygian landscapes toward Başmakçı and the Anatolian highlands.
