Halbturn – Jánossomorja
From Halbturn, the Jerusalem Way crosses the Austrian-Hungarian border into the Pannonian Plain. The landscape becomes wide, flat, and agriculturally dominated. Via Albertkázmérpuszta with its small church, the route reaches Jánossomorja. Entering Hungary marks the beginning of a new section: the familiar Alpine and Central European pilgrimage landscapes lie behind, the path becomes quieter and leads ever more clearly toward the Balkans.
