Description

On this stage to Pamplona, shortly after Obanos, we have a very special spiritual place on the way to Jerusalem. We reach the legendary, octagonal Templar Chapel "Nuestra Señore de Eunate". In the distance we see the mountain range «Alto del Perdón» and as we get closer we see a wind farm on it. With the crossing of this hill, the main obstacle of the day is over. It rewards us with a beautiful view. After this hill, suburbs and industrial plants gradually begin to announce that we are approaching Pamplona, the capital of the Navarre region. When we have passed the site of the University of Navarra, we stand close to the city and enter it in the southwest through the fortress «La Ciudadela». Our stage ends in the Plaza del Castillo.
