Every journey begins with a first step ...

The Jerusalem Way is the world's longest pilgrimage and an international peace and culture route!

The Jerusalem Way connects religions and peoples in a unique peace project.

The Jerusalem Way stands for mutual recognition and tolerance.

Love, the most powerful force in the universe, penetrates, illuminates everything and builds bridges between all people!

Pilgrims create openness to encounters, dismantle prejudices and fears, and strengthen trust - basic trust. The supposed boundaries between peoples and religions can be bridged by individuals with love and mutual respect.

General information about pilgrimages with the club

Traveling together on the Jerusalemweg, the longest pilgrimage and peace path in the world!

Pilgrimage is probably the most ecological way to travel and is a sustainable balance. We are on foot and by minibus together on the international peace and culture path: Overview of the planned pilgrimages

General information about the pilgrimages

Fitness & Equipment: Easy hikes for sure-footed pilgrims with average fitness. Hiking times spread over the day are about 4 to 6 hours / about 15 to 20 km. The route takes us through easy to moderately difficult terrain, any ascents have a maximum of 300 to 500 meters in altitude in one piece and sufficient breaks are planned. We hike with a light daypack on hiking, forest and field paths, gravel roads and partly asphalt. A minibus transports our main luggage.

The Club JERUSALEM WAY International Peace Team assumes no liability, the organizer and the pilgrim escort are also not liable for any damage or accidents. Participation is your own responsibility. Finally, we would like to point out that all pilgrims must be in reasonable physical and mental condition.

The daily flat fee for trips within Austria is € 25 (for trips abroad, the amount is determined and announced). The daily fee includes the complete organization and pilgrimage accompaniment; daily transport of the main luggage by minibus to and from the accommodations; Tip for driver; as well as a ride in the minibus if someone needs a break or does not want to walk a bit for personal reasons.

When traveling, we organize regionally inexpensive accommodations as far as possible. Be it a guest house, farm holiday, monastery, educational center, inn, hotel, guesthouse, hostel, ...

Costs for accommodation & meals as well as for trips by public transport are to be borne on site. When traveling together in a minibus, the kilometer costs are shared among the participants.

Room: double or single room including breakfast! Dinner at the accommodation or in the vicinity. In principle, no sleeping bag is required! Should we ever need a sleeping bag during a trip, we will state this in the travel description

The number of participants is at least 8 to about 20 people. Please send an email to for details and registration info@jerusalemway.org

Any deviations will be listed separately for the respective trip.
