On their way, they retraced the Crusades, hiked on paths once tread by Apostle Paul, and followed various historic pilgrim trails through 10 countries all the way to the Holy Land of Israel.<\/p>\n

This book reports about their travels, offers insights into the life of a pilgrim in general, and strikingly tells of the adventures, encounters, and experiences of the three Jerusalem pilgrims.<\/p>\n

Portrait of the author<\/strong>
\nJohannes Aschauer, a police officer by profession, set off for the Holy Land in June 2010 with his colleague Otto klar and the former ski racer and downhill world champion David Zwilling. They reached Jerusalem on December 25th. With their hike they laid the foundation for the international peace project \u201cJERUSALEM WAY\u201d and for the book of the same name, which was a great success.<\/strong> The author also supports the Jerusalem Way as a path of peace that connects people and religions with live lectures and guided pilgrimages.<\/p>\n
