The opening of the JERUSALEM WAY peace exhibition on April 1, 2014 at the EU Parliament was a great success! Thousands of visitors saw the international exhibition in three days! <\/p>\n
The photo gallery & traveling exhibition is a visible instrument for interculturality, European networking and civil society participation. A ceremonial exhibition at the European Parliament in Brussels marked the launch of the international Jerusalem Way photo gallery & traveling exhibition. This visually impressive exhibition brings the peace and pilgrimage idea of the Jerusalem Way into the public space \u2013 visible, mobile and cross-border. It shows authentic photographs from over 15 countries along the route \u2013 from Spain to Jerusalem \u2013 conveying lived interculturality, human encounter and spiritual depth. <\/p>\n
Visibility & Networking: <\/b>The exhibition is designed as a Europe-wide traveling exhibition. After the launch in Brussels, presentations follow in cities, educational institutions and cultural organizations along the Jerusalem Way. It is implemented locally with partner organizations and thus actively promotes the network between communities, civil society initiatives, religious institutions and educational actors. Intercultural Exchange: <\/b>The exhibition documents through powerful images the lived intercultural and interreligious dialogue along the Jerusalem Way. Promotion of mutual understanding and cultural empathy Accompanying events (lectures, film evenings, discussions) deepen the exchange Strengthening the role of culture as a bridge-builder in Europe <\/p>\n
Youth Involvement: <\/b>As part of the exhibition, targeted educational programs for young people and students are planned: School tours, workshops & project work with focus on peace, human rights, sustainability Cooperation with youth organizations, schools and universities Participation of young people in planning, moderation and content design<\/p>\n
Conclusion: <\/b>With the photo gallery\/traveling exhibition, the Jerusalem Way establishes a dynamic, visible and participatory cultural practice that promotes the core values of the Council of Europe: peace, diversity, tolerance and shared European heritage. The exhibition grows along the route \u2013 through contributions from local contexts, new locations and joint events \u2013 and thus itself becomes part of a living, evolving European cultural project. <\/p>\n
