Johannes Aschauer, a police officer by profession, set off for the Holy Land in June 2010 with his colleague Otto klar and the former ski racer and downhill world champion David Zwilling. They reached Jerusalem on December 25th. With their hike they laid the foundation for the international peace project “Jerusalemweg / Jerusalem Way” and for the book of the same name, which was a great success in Austria. The author also supports the Jerusalem Way as a path of peace that connects people and religions with live lectures and guided pilgrimages.
