GPS navigation + pilgrim's passport + pennant + Jerusalem Way sticker + folder with map (German / English / Spanish)

 

GPS navigation provides pilgrims with reliable orientation along the Jerusalem Way from Finisterre (Spain) to Jerusalem. In addition to the route, the navigation includes numerous points of interest (POIs), including:

• Accommodation along the route
• historical sites and pilgrimage sites
• cultural sights
• Important waypoints for pilgrims

We currently cover around 80% of the route with accommodation recommendations. These are constantly being expanded and updated.

GPS sections

The Pilgrim Package includes GPS access for a section of the Jerusalem Way, as well as a pilgrim's passport and pennant. The following three sections are available:

• Balkan
• Türkiye
• Holy Land (Jordan – Israel – Palestine)

Please specify the desired section (Balkans / Türkiye / Holy Land) when ordering.

Many pilgrims walk the Jerusalem Way in several stages over several years. Additional sections can be added later at any time.

Price for additional sections: €33 per section

Pilgrims who have already purchased a Pilgrim Package with pilgrim passport and pennant can order additional sections without a new package. Those who have already completed a section can add further sections at any time and continue their pilgrimage step by step to Jerusalem.

Supporting the Jerusalem Way

The development of the GPS route was a multi-year process and is based on historical research, satellite data, and numerous personal visits along the route.

By purchasing the GPS navigation device, pilgrims directly support the maintenance, further development and marking of the route as well as the development of the Jerusalem Way App.

All proceeds go 100% towards the work and further development of the Jerusalem Way through the non-profit organization JERUSALEM WAY International Peace Team.

The price includes all GPS and POI updates for one year from the date of purchase. Club members receive unlimited GPS and POI updates, as well as a pilgrim's passport and pennant, free of charge. See details below. Membership

Navigation

The GPS data is currently used via the outdoor app Mapy.cz. This app offers color hiking maps, contour lines, satellite images, and offline maps, so no internet connection is required. Information about installing and using the app (click to open)

A dedicated Jerusalem Way app is currently under development and will serve as the official digital companion for pilgrims in the future.

Legal notice

Sharing or publishing the GPS data is not permitted. The GPS tracks were developed over many years and contain personal identification points, which means that even after GPX export a clear assignment remains possible and unauthorized distribution can be prosecuted.

The use of GPS data is at your own risk. The association accepts no liability for any material damage, personal injury, or financial loss that may arise from the use of GPS data.
