Every journey begins with a first step ...

The Jerusalem Way is the world's longest pilgrimage and an international peace and culture route!

The Jerusalem Way connects religions and peoples in a unique peace project.

The Jerusalem Way stands for mutual recognition and tolerance.

Love, the most powerful force in the universe, penetrates, illuminates everything and builds bridges between all people!

Pilgrims create openness to encounters, dismantle prejudices and fears, and strengthen trust - basic trust. The supposed boundaries between peoples and religions can be bridged by individuals with love and mutual respect.

Jerusalem Way & Sufi Trail decided to cooperate in 2019! Since then, the Sufi Trail from the city of Aksehir to Konya has also been the route of the Jerusalem Way (distance about 160 km).

On the stages of the Sufi Trail there should be simple accommodation such as a room to sleep. Regarding this, ask the muhtar (mayor) about this accommodation and in some villages you can also get a stamp for the pilgrim's passport.

Attention: In winter these accommodations are often closed or not heated! Tip: If you can't find a place to sleep in a village, try to get to the next larger town by minibus, hitchhike or taxi and sleep there. Then drive back the next day to continue the pilgrimage. Unless you have a tent with you, the majority of pilgrims do not have a tent with them and manage well.

The Sufi Trail sometimes runs across country and is not consistently marked! thats why GPS compulsory and we recommend stay on the nearby road in wet and snowy conditions.
