Description

This stage is not one of the highlights of the Jerusalem Way, and yet it is part of the way. Obviously, the Spanish tourism experts have not found a more pleasant route - the airfield on the left of our hike may have contributed to the fact that there is little space available off the main road. We hike along a lot of busy streets. We have one consolation: the villages along the way actually sound pretty nice in Spanish ... The stage town of León on the Rio Bernesca goes back to around AD 60. built Roman Castell back and offers itself as a worthwhile stage where you could treat yourself to a day off. León is the capital of the province of the same name and was the capital of the Kingdom of León. Among other things, León is known for its Gothic cathedral and other buildings such as the Basilica of San Isidoro with the Pantheon of the Kings of León.
