Description

Today's stage leads us eastwards and is still relatively flat in the first part of the St. Gallen Lake District, then begins to climb in the second part and leads us up to the Laad Pass, which reaches its culmination point on the Heid. From there, descend to the stage town of Wattwil in the St. Gallen valley community “Toggenburg” on the upper reaches of the Thur. The lovely landscape, the view of the mountains and the Obersee as well as the Toggenburger houses later make this route a hiking paradise and will remain in our memories.
