Description

This stage leads to Purkersdorf, a western suburb of the capital of Austria - Vienna. Via Siegersdorf you reach the edge of the Tullner Feld near Sieghartskirchen. Further on in this popular hiking zone we come to the local recreation zone for harried Viennese city dwellers, namely the hilly landscape of the Vienna Woods covered by deciduous forest (Troppberg hiking region), through which we reach the stage location Purkersdorf.

 

Pilgrim hostel: A special accommodation for pilgrims is located in the middle of this route, namely the pilgrim hostel of Gabriele Wieser & Franz Enk in 3041 Siegersdorf, Hauptstraße 4. The so-called "Jerusalemweg - Jakobsweg Hütte" is right on the way. Please register on +43 664 5300848 or +43 664 8207027.
