Description

As an exception, this stage takes us north again, but on such a long hike the path cannot always lead straight to the destination. The path is also a little hilly today than on some of the previous stages. After starting at the Roman Catholic Church Nagyboldogasszony in Kisbér, the next place is called “Ete”. Ete is a wine-growing town with over 100 well-known wine cellars, but it is still too early on the stage for a tasting. Ete has a very nice reformed church and a very nice collection of local symbols. The path continues to Makkpuszta. There we find a property that once belonged to the Eszterházy family. Today this complex belongs to the Italian Menossi family, who are gradually renewing and restoring the property. The gentle renovation takes into account the remaining values and allows the horse stud, which was world-famous in the 1900s, to flourish again. The stage destination Navigmánd is a world-famous thermal town. We rest in front of the town hall by the pilgrims' fountain. The city offers accommodation, restaurants and attractions.
