Description

This stage in the Monts d Aubrac in Dept. Lozère is probably the most impressive in the Central Massif and naturally has a great similarity to the previous stage. The undulating character of the plateau is comparable to the previous stage, but on this stage we encounter a multitude of water arms that will later grow to rivers somewhere in the lowlands. The stage town of Aumont-Aubrac has been an important pilgrimage station in the Central Massif since the Middle Ages. In Aumont-Aubrac, we should definitely visit the Saint-Etienne church.
