Description

From Lauzerte we hike on this relatively short and easy stage over two mountain ranges with the crossings “Pech de la Rode” and “Le Pech Nègre” and also cross the striking stream “Ruisseau Du Tartuguié”. The two castles “Château de Montlauzun” with a church on a hill on the other side of the path and the “Château de Charry” with its beautiful view over the country are also worth seeing. On this stage we also come from the department of Tarn-et-Garonne to the department of Lot, where the river of the same name will be our companion for the next few days. The stage town of Montcuq is again on a hill. The old village center and the Saint-Hilaire church are its sights.
