Directions:

From the scrap tree mill on the right bank of the Ilz to Kalteneck, there over the bridge to the left bank. Continue along the Ilz to Fischhaus. There, switch to the right bank again. About Mausmühle to the Triftsperre. Change the bank again over the Triftsperre at the beginning of the Halser Ilzschleife. Over the height, past Rechenstein Castle to Hofbauerngut and there over the bridge to Hals. Continue along the Ilz until it flows into the Danube. Below the Veste Oberhaus over the Prinz-Luitpold-Brücke in the old town of Passau and there over the Holy Cross and St. Michael to the St. Stephan Cathedral.
