Description

Today we will reach the Inn near Landeck and from there the Inn and Danube provide wide valley bottoms, in which pilgrim trails can still find space, so we are now spared from constant ascents and ascents for some time. Until Landeck, however, we will still have a wavy stretch ahead of us. Here is some information about the attractions along the stage: Rosanna + Trisanna = Sanna: At the height of the Zintlwald, short or the Lärchkapelle, the Trisanna flows into the Rosanne, from then on the two are called Sanna and thus flow into the Inn at Landeck. Landeck Castle: Landeck Castle is located on Via Claudia Augusta and was probably built by the Counts of Ulten in the first half of the 13th century on the towering rock above the Inn. Today Landeck's landmark is an important event and cultural center. Landeck Castle is not directly on the Jerusalemweg but can be reached in about 20 minutes. Schrofenstein ruins: The ruins stand on a rocky outcrop from which you can enjoy a wonderful view. The castle takes its name from the Schrofenstein family, who also had the Landeck parish church built. The Schrofenstein castle ruins can be reached from Stanz in about half an hour via a hiking trail. Zammer Lochputz: The popular destination offers dizzying insights into one of the most beautiful wild water in Tyrol. In centuries of work, the water has created the mysticism of the Zammer Lochputz Klamm in Zams and through the water adventure trail everyone can now access the wild natural beauty via tunnels, trails and bridges. Campanile Zams: Around 1440 the old parish church was rebuilt in the Gothic style. In 1911 a major fire destroyed most of the village, the church had collapsed and had to be demolished. The reconstruction was carried out in a baroque style, but not at the place where the church used to be, but a little further west for traffic reasons, which is why the tower, whose walls had held up, now offers an unusual sight as a free-standing campanile.
