Description

Today we spend our pilgrimage day for a change on the left side of the Inn, where the path leads us through a series of villages in the valley floor, places with unusual, short names such as Arzl, Rum, Thaur or Absam. Behind Absam, an ascent to the Larchberg begins, from where we can enjoy an impressive panorama over the Inn Valley, the Olympic city of Innsbruck and the Tyrolean Alps, if the weather permits. We hike up there from the forest chapel via St. Martin to St. Michael, and from there through the Larchthal to the pilgrim church of Maria Larch above Terfen.
