Wattwil – Urnäsch

From Wattwil, the Jerusalem Way leads over the pre-Alpine heights towards the Appenzellerland. Forests, alpine pastures, and scattered farms characterize the path. With good visibility, views open up to Lake Constance and the Rhine Valley. Urnäsch preserves strong regional customs and forms a distinctive stage stop. The landscape becomes increasingly alpine, without yet taking on the character of a high-mountain trail.
