Los Arcos – Estella
From Los Arcos, the Jerusalem Way leads through the gently rolling landscape of Navarre to Estella. Fields, vineyards, and small villages accompany the path as the hills gradually draw closer. Just before Estella lies the Irache Monastery, a place steeped in tradition on the Camino de Santiago. Estella itself possesses a rich medieval heritage with its churches, palaces, and bridges. The photogenic bridge over the Río Ega and the Church of San Pedro de la Rúa are among the special landmarks along the way. This compact stage leaves plenty of time to discover the historic city.
