Jongieux – Seyssel
From Jongieux, the Jerusalem Way leads down through the Savoyard wine country to the Canal de Savières and on to Chanaz. After that, the route follows the Rhône for extended sections. Locks, reservoirs, riparian forests, and wide river landscapes characterize the way to Seyssel. The town lies on both sides of the Rhône and marks a distinctive transition on the way toward Geneva.
