Interlaken – Brienz

From Interlaken, the Jerusalem Way leads to Lake Brienz and along the southern shore via Bönigen and Iseltwald. Turquoise water, steep mountain slopes, and small lakeside villages characterize the path. At the Giessbach Falls, the water plunges down to the lake in several cascades. The route then continues to Brienz, known for its woodcarving and its location between the lake and the mountains. This stage is scenically one of the most impressive in Switzerland.
