Hornillos del Camino – Burgos

From Hornillos del Camino, the Jerusalem Way gradually leads via Rabé de las Calzadas and Tardajos out of the open Meseta into the greater Burgos area. Fields and small villages accompany the first part, after which the surroundings become increasingly urban. With its historic old town and impressive Gothic cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site, Burgos is one of the great cultural highlights of the Spanish route. The arrival presents a stark contrast to the quiet landscapes of the past few days and offers an opportunity for sightseeing and relaxation.
