Figeac – Decazeville
From Figeac, the Jerusalem Way heads east into the Aveyron department. Via Livinhac and quiet villages, the route reaches the church of Saint-Félix and the chapel of Guirande with its remarkable paintings. After that, the trail approaches Decazeville, whose townscape and history were shaped by mining and industrialisation. This stage vividly shows the transition from medieval cultural landscapes to an industrially shaped valley.
