Estella – Puente la Reina
From Estella, the Jerusalem Way leads through gently rolling terrain via Villatuerta, Lorca, Cirauqui, and Mañeru to Puente la Reina. The old town centers, stone alleys, and wide views make this section particularly diverse. The destination is the famous medieval pilgrim bridge over the Arga River, one of the great landmarks of the Camino Francés. The Church of Santa María de los Huertos and the tradition of the former pilgrim hospital also serve as reminders of the town’s significance. In Puente la Reina, major historical Camino routes converge – we cross this junction in the opposite direction on the way to Jerusalem.
