Espalion – Saint-Chély-d’Aubrac

From Espalion, the route heads towards Aubrac via Saint-Côme-d’Olt, with its distinctive twisted church tower. After the valley floor, longer climbs follow through forests and pastureland. Via the Boralde valley, the trail reaches Saint-Chély-d’Aubrac with its historic pilgrims’ bridge. This stage marks the transition from the Lot valley to the Aubrac highlands and calls for a steady, enduring pace.
