Einsiedeln – Rapperswil
From Einsiedeln Abbey, the Jerusalem Way leads via the Galgenchappeli to the historic Tüfelsbrugg over the Sihl. The route then climbs to the Etzel Pass and the Chapel of St. Meinrad. From the heights, the view opens out over Lake Zurich before the path descends to Rapperswil. The “Rose Town” with its castle and lakeside promenade marks a striking transition from the alpine pilgrimage site to the more densely populated Eastern Switzerland.
