Decazeville – Conques
From Decazeville, the Jerusalem Way leads through wooded highlands and the Dourdou Valley towards Conques. Small chapels, old bridges and quiet villages accompany the route. The final ascent demands strength once more before the medieval town opens up with the Abbey Church of Sainte-Foy. The Romanesque tympanum, the narrow lanes and the special atmosphere make Conques one of the great spiritual and cultural highlights of the entire France route.
