Carrión de los Condes – Frómista

After the very long previous stage, this section offers a shorter walk through the open Meseta. Via Villalcázar de Sirga, the Jerusalem Way leads to Frómista, where the Canal de Castilla is reached. The town is known above all for the Romanesque church of San Martín, one of the outstanding structures along the Camino Francés. Wide fields, clear horizons, and significant pilgrimage architecture combine on this stage to create a peaceful, culturally rich day’s walk.
