Cahors – Bach

From the Pont Valentré, the Jerusalem Way climbs out of the Cahors basin onto the limestone plateau of Quercy. Ancient trail traces, dry stone walls, open oak forests, and quiet hamlets accompany the route. After lively Cahors, calm quickly returns. The stage leads into a sparsely populated landscape where water sources and supplies must be carefully planned. Bach marks the transition to the onward route toward Cajarc.
