Bludenz – Dalaas
This stage brings us 17 km and 200 metres of elevation gain closer to the Arlberg Pass. The next stage is almost the same length, but then it has another 1,000 metres of ascent. So anyone considering combining the two stages really needs to be in very good shape. On today’s stage we no longer walk along the edge of the valley floor, but mostly hike along the stream “Altenz”, heading gently uphill on some fairly long, straight sections. So we have plenty of time to take a look at this and that, or to strike up a conversation with locals or other tourists. At the end of the village of Dalaas, a rustic and special pilgrim hostel awaits us! Details below and in the photos attached.
