Arzacq-Arraziguet – Aire-sur-l’Adour

This very long stage leads from Arzacq-Arraziguet across open high ground, small villages and the historic site of Pimbo down into the Adour valley. Along the way, fields, forests and wide views alternate. In Aire-sur-l’Adour, the Sainte-Quitterie church and the long pilgrimage tradition recall the town’s importance on the route to Santiago. For JerusalemWay pilgrims, it is also another step eastwards, into an increasingly quieter landscape that is less shaped by the flow of pilgrims.
