Aire-Sur-L’Adour – Nogaro

From Aire-sur-l’Adour, the Jerusalem Way first leads through the lowlands of the Adour and then through the gentle hills of Gascony. Fields, vineyards, small forests, and scattered villages characterize the long route. Nogaro is a traditional place on the Way of St. James; the Church of Saint-Nicolas recalls its medieval significance. The stage connects expansive cultural landscape with a noticeably quieter pilgrimage atmosphere.
