Fulda - Passau: JERUSALEMWAY OF THE APOSTLES
Feeder route: Jerusalem Way of the Apostles
This feeder route follows in the footsteps of the insular traveling missionaries of the post-Roman migration: It begins at the cathedral in Fulda, where the grave of Boniface is located; he is considered an apostle of the Germans. On September 30, 2023, the Apostles' feeder path will be opened and the Jerusalem Path Dove of Peace will be ceremoniously installed at the cathedral. The dove is pointed exactly towards Jerusalem. The path then leads via Würzburg, the city of the Irish missionaries and martyrs Kilian, Kolonat and Totnan via Rothenburg ob der Tauber - the Jerusalem of the Franks! From there continue to the Peace Bridge in the city of Donauwörth, where the next JERUSALEM WAY Peace Dove is located. Down the Danube via Regensburg and Passau, the pilgrim finally reaches the city of peace Linz, where the three feeder routes from Germany flow into the Jerusalemweg main route coming from Spain. From Linz a common route via the Balkan countries and Turkey to Jerusalem, a distance of around 5000 kilometers!
