Dear peace pilgrims,

The JERUSALEM WAY – the world's longest pilgrimage and peace route – was born out of a vision in 2006. Today, it inspires people from over 100 countries to set out on the journey, build bridges, and live with hope. “Go in peace, as a bridge between the peoples.” (Jerusalem Way Spirit)

INVITATION: PEACE PILGRIMAGE ON SATURDAY, JUNE 28, 2025

Pilgrimage for peace: The congregations and parishes of Schwertberg, Naarn, and Arbing are sending a strong message. Together, they invite people to a peace pilgrimage along the Jerusalem Way. The decision to temporarily disconnect from everyday life and walk a distance slows down and strengthens inner peace. A pilgrimage day with stops along the way, inspiration, and blessings in the context of the Holy Year 2025 – Pilgrims of Hope.

Start: Saturday, 28 June 2025 at 08:00 in Schwertberg
Goal: Arbing (22 KM), shorter participation possible – e.g. from Naarn 11 km or Perg
Route & orientation: Map in MAPS and  Google Maps

JORDAN: IMPRESSIONS FROM AL-QUDS WAY

In May 2025, the complete JERUSALEM WAY Route / Al-Quds-Way in Jordan (Slawek from Poland, Alex from France & Johannes from Austria)

Goal: Maintaining and expanding contacts and infrastructure, updating and marking trails. The approximately 220 km route leads from the Syrian border via Jerash, Amman, and Mount Nebo to the Dead Sea.

It was a cultural and spiritual journey of discovery through remote villages, towns, river valleys and the impressive stone desert – characterized by numerous warm encounters with the exceptionally hospitable population Jordan. WELCOME TO JORDAN, HABIBI!
