2 day, KUMKALE - HIKE TO TAMIS - KORABASI

We are leaving Europe! Transfer to Asia by ferry

We enjoy the warm rays of the sun and the view of the sea

Hike along the sea on Asian soil. Johannes and Otto mark the Jerusalemweg

In the darkness we arrived in the small village of KORUBASI. G nther from Germany,

Day , Climb to ASSOS, hike BERGAMON

The bus continues to BERGAMON. Many a camel is encountered in traffic.

Gigantic pine trees line the way. We make a short stop to see the pine nuts harvested.

The police, our friend and helper, dutifully go about their work. We drive on and overnight in DIKILI

4 day, IZMIR

IZMIR, a metropolis beautifully located by the sea. The group shows severity

A visit to the large bazaar in IZMIR is a nice change from a pilgrimage

Spices and dried fruits invite you to taste

We continue our pilgrimage towards Ephesus and enjoy the impressions of nature

5 day, EPHESUS, SELCUK

The world-famous CELSUS library from EPHESUS is very impressive

6.Tag, Pamukkale

ERDAL and MURAT show us a carpet weaver and we get a great insight into this culture and the creation of a valuable carpet

7th day, LAODICEA

We continue to LAODICEA / Laodikeia

The coffee break is also used to have Hannelore read the coffee grounds

The tour of LAODICEA proved to be exciting, as archaeologists are constantly at work to discover new things

The leisurely bus rides are used to rest, have a snack, sleep, recite poems and prayers, look through photos or chat and tell a joke

In between we refresh ourselves with freshly squeezed pomegranate and orange juices

The fresh spices invite you to taste and buy

The snacks in these little LOKANTAS are always fresh and amazingly delicious, this car also goes well with the color

Now we continue our pilgrimage to a small village called G LK Y, while walking we have nice conversations or silence, as is appropriate at the moment

In between a short break, Christoph and Karin have found a cozy banker

Newly born lambs make us pause and we enjoy this beautiful situation

In the G LK Y tea house we strengthen ourselves with Cay and make our way towards ISPARTA

In ISPARTA, in the land of roses, Johannes is happy about the various rose products

8 day, Egidir, ANTIOCHIA IN PISIDIA

After a night in a small breakfast pension called CHOCHO, we start freshly strengthened for the next pilgrimage

We make a pilgrimage to the small village S C LL and on to ANTIOCHIA Pisidia

It also happens that the women carry the heavy rucksacks of the men. The stronger sex ...

We make a pilgrimage in beautiful sunshine to BINBIRKILISE, the site of the 1001 churches

We are tired after arriving in KARAMAN

11th day, Hike G KSU Canyon

We visit the former mountain monastery ALAHAN KILISE

A very impressive backdrop with a wonderful view

Before the hike through the beautiful canyon,
Let's fortify ourselves in a Lokanta with delicious regional food and buy regional spices
