Pilgrimage and mark together from Lofer to Linz
Invitation: "Joint pilgrimage week" on the Jerusalemweg in Austria from Lofer in the state of Salzburg to the city of peace Linz! Date: Friday, September 15 – Saturday, September 23, 2023
We are making a pilgrimage in an easterly direction, towards the sun on the way to Jerusalem... From Lofer to Linz to the ceremonial installation of the Jerusalem Way Peace Dove in front of the New Town Hall in the Peace City of Linz!
Some of the highlights along the way are: Lofer, picture-perfect hike along the Saalach and through the imposing Innersbach Gorge, Unken, Bad Reichenhall, Salzburg, Pilgrimage basilica Maria Plain, Wallersee, Vöcklabruck, Lambach Abbey, Wilhering Abbey. And finally, on Saturday, September 23, 2023, arrival in Linz for the ceremonial installation and blessing of the Jerusalem Way Peace Dove as part of the interreligious ceremony.

PILGRIM WEEK DETAILS
Arrive yourself by train/bus to Lofer on Friday, September 15, 2023 by noon! A picture-book stage awaits us in the afternoon as a wonderful introductory hike! We walk through the beautiful Jerusalemweg Innersbach Gorge and have a view of the "three brothers"! We'll take a break in the vital oasis and overnight stay is in Hotel Friedlwirt in Unken. - DAILY RATE: € 10 to 15 per day (depending on the number of participants)
- OVERNIGHT STAY: Night € 40.- to 50.- guest house or otherwise dormitory / gymnasium with sleeping bag
- GETTING THERE: Meeting point on 15.9. at noon in Lofer, arrival ÖBB (own arrangement)
- GROUP SIZE: About 12 people from Lofer to Wilhering Abbey. From Wilhering to Linz there is no limit to the number of participants! Please participate actively.
- DOWN PAYMENT: € 100.- or aliquot for shorter participation on the club account

From Wilhering Abbey to Linz there is no limit to the number of participants!

Return by bus & train from Linz with all connection options. Subject to program changes.
In addition to registering for the entire trip, there is of course also the option of registering for individual stages to register. We would be very happy about active participation, especially in the final stage from Wilhering Abbey to Linz! The meeting point is at the collegiate church at 09:00 a.m. with a pilgrim blessing from Abbot Reinhold Dessl!

Condition & Equipment: Easy hikes for sure-footed pilgrims with average fitness. We hike with our backpack on hiking, forest and field paths, gravel roads and partly asphalt. The walking time is around 5 to 8 hours spread throughout the day. The route takes us through easy terrain; any climbs will be planned with plenty of breaks. We hike with backpacks and, depending on the size of the group, also with a support vehicle / shuttle service to the accommodation.

Participation is at your own risk. Finally, we would like to point out that all pilgrims must be in appropriate physical and mental condition. Errors and changes in the program reserved!
